Flush

Another personal favorite of mine. I think I did this piece in about 10 minutes max, and that’s what I love about it. I started by putting the color on the page, just plotting some “heat points” on where I wanted the focus points to be. I then went in with a regular ballpoint pen and sketched in the details. It’s messy - a true sketch - but it really conveys a strong feeling to the viewer. When I look at this piece, I think of the feeling of a crush, an infatuation, feeling my cheeks become warm, and this hopeful anticipation and yearning for something that might happen – or might not.

Available in 5x7 in or 8x10 in. Each print is signed and dated before being individually wrapped in a protective plastic sleeve with a foam board backing.
